Screen size affects the device’s dimensions and weight. It measures the distance between opposite corners in inches. Up to 14" are ultraportable, 14–16" versatile, 17.3"+ for desktop replacement.

Panel Type
The panel type affects display quality. Different panels vary in color, contrast, and viewing angles. TN panels are affordable and fast. IPS panels offer wider angles and more accurate colors, while OLED delivers the best quality.

Resolution
Maximum resolution – the highest number of pixels a display can show, measured horizontally and vertically. Higher values provide more detailed and sharper images. The most common resolution is 1920 × 1080.

Screen surfaces can be glossy or matte. Glossy displays look attractive and work well with touch input. Matte screens with anti-glare coating reduce reflections from sunlight or bright lamps.
