CPU Model
CPU Model – an encoded designation of the processor’s specifications. Higher numbers indicate a more powerful chip. The final letter shows special features: for example, U stands for low power consumption, H for high-performance graphics.
Clock Speeds, GHz
Turbo frequency is the processor speed above its base level, achieved using Turbo technology. It allows the CPU to automatically boost performance to its maximum when handling resource-intensive tasks.
RAM type
Each new generation of RAM consumes less power, allowing for higher bandwidth and faster system performance. The most energy-efficient variants are labeled with the "LP" prefix, indicating Low Power memory—ideal for mobile and ultra-thin devices.
RAM, GB
RAM Capacity — the amount of memory installed in the device. A larger capacity ensures smoother performance and faster response. For resource-intensive tasks, at least 8 GB of RAM is recommended.
Memory slots
Number of RAM Slots — determines the maximum amount of memory the device can support. A device can have up to 4 slots, either occupied or empty. Maximum performance is achieved when using a pair of modules: 2 × 8 GB outperforms a single 16 GB module.
Capacity, GB
The storage capacity indicates how much digital content can be stored on the device. With an SSD + HDD configuration, the operating system and applications can be stored on the solid-state drive, while films, music, and photos can be stored on the hard dr
HDD, rpm
Hard disk drives typically spin at 5400 or 7200 RPM (revolutions per minute). Higher speeds offer faster data access, but may also result in increased power consumption, heat generation, and operational noise.
Graphics
The graphics adapter is responsible for rendering images on the screen. It can be integrated (part of the CPU) or discrete (on the motherboard) from NVIDIA or AMD. Choose an integrated GPU for basic tasks, and a discrete GPU for gaming or demanding app.
GPU model
GPU Model — the specific graphics card model with its own features and capabilities. The letter prefix (e.g., GeForce RTX) indicates the performance class, while the numbers denote the generation and position within the lineup.
GPU Memory, MB
GPU Memory — the amount of dedicated high-speed memory on the graphics card, where game data and certain applications are loaded for fast processing and display. This specification is especially important for gaming.
Operating system
Choose a device with a free pre-installed DOS operating system or without any OS if you prefer to install your own. Windows 11 Home is an optimal choice for personal use, while Windows 11 Pro is better suited for business tasks.
Case Material
The body material defines the device’s look, weight, durability, and strength. Laptop cases can be made from plastic, polycarbonate, carbon fiber, aluminum, metal alloys, fabric, or even leather.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is a wireless networking technology widely used in consumer and industrial devices—including computers, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs—to connect to the internet without the need for physical cables.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth — enables data exchange between devices within a range of up to 10 meters. It is primarily used to connect wireless peripherals such as mice, keyboards, speakers, and printers to laptops, PCs, tablets, and smartphones.
LAN RJ-45, Mbps
The RJ-45 Ethernet port allows you to connect to the internet or set up a local network using a wired cable. This type of connection ensures high-speed, stable data transfer with minimal interruptions.
